Dadi, Mami & Baby @ the Zoo

Dadi woke up very early this morning & decided to bring me to the ZOO .....

I hurry took my shower and lunch and voola i'm off to Mandai

This is my first time with Dadi to the Zoo. I'm so happy and excited because everytime he wasn't around to join me.

The zoo was rather packed today , guess it was a public holiday. I bought a medium size whipped potato and enjoyed my trip as i walk around the zoo in Dadi arms.



After awhile it started to rain ... (its always happen when i go to the Zoo)
So i decided to take a break and drink my milk while waiting for the rain to stop .

We proceed to the Children's World right after the rain stopped ... It looks different , Mami say they renovated the place. It was nice , clean & everything looks new ... !

I took off my crocs and dash towards the pool ....

Looks at the vibrant colours of the pool now, so much better than the old one ....

Water Water Water ....

I was enjoying myself when a kid came over and splash water onto me ...
Thats it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm pissed .
Mami, i wanna wash up now ... Let go for KFC

Yes Yes ~ I've just got scolded by mami for messing up the room (she's a cleaniness freak)

Mami can't stop nagging at me. What do i know i'm just a " Baby" .

To the Beach

Mami is bringing me to Sentosa today. HOORAY !!!!!
Finally i get to be a beach boy today , babes i'm coming wait for me. All dressed up and ready to go. This will be my 3rd time to Sentosa but my 1st to SILOSO beach. Finally got to go Sentosa with my folks because everytime i went they are in Bangkok ... I can't wait to enjoy this joyous day together with them.

The day was bright and sunny. The beach was filled with bikini babes and that includes my mami and ah yee. However what fascinates me is the white sandy beach. I took my first step on the sand was abit rough and yucky but i got used to it after awhile.


Sand is amazing, you can do wonders with it. Gong Gong show me how to build sandcastle and shaped them with my moulds. I learnt fast and started digging my pile of sand to build my very whole castle.

Dadi helping us with our "sandcastle project". But alas we babies started to get distracted and forgo our project in the end. Guess we are not cut out to be in the construction line .. Sorry Mami i don't think i make a qualified engineer or architect.

The clouds started to change colour .... From the white i saw early it slowly turn greyish ... gong gong say its gonna rain soon. It time for us to pack up and go.

I leave reluctantly ... bidding my white sandy beach farewell.

Goodbye my sandy beach .. I"LL BE BACK ...

Nobody told me anything about digging nose !!!!

Yuppie i'm going to pick " MahMah aka Grandma" up from work today.
Mami and Dadi together with me and jiejie pick up MahMah from her work place.
I was happily minding my own business watching the trees and buildings passes by when MahMah suddenly say ... :-

Xuanxuan don't dig your nose , its not nice !

That very moment i was tongue tied, i fell rock bottom and soo full of grieve. They never say anything about DIGGING MY NOSE ~~~


I started whining ....................
Mami just continue nagging that i shouldn't whinned ...
MahMah mean well for me !!

This time i make sure my cry is louder than before .... I want to make them feel remoseful it works.

Mami , I'm ready can we go ?

Mami and Dadi is bringing me out today for another shopping trip and i can't wait. But as usual i need to wait for them to get ready. Grggh those adults they're slower than me.

Mami say she needs to prepare my milk, water , diapers and etc. before we can go.

I am getting abit impatient so i put on my shoes and took out mami's shoes for her ..... Mami are you ready ?

Cleaning Up ...

I pick up a new hobby recently.
SWEEPING THE FLOOR
Every morning i'll take the broom and dustpan and start my daily chores.
Mami says i inherited gong gong's genes. Cleaniness !
Aunty Roslyn says i stole her job.
I think she must be worried because i am mastering how to mop the floor as well.


I think i fare well because mami say she will be buying me a cleaning kit ...

Yuppie i can't wait ~~~~~

My Nanny

This is Aunty Roslyn, my previous nanny.

Don't be deceived by her size. She's small in frame but she's STRONG.

Handling a boy like me is not easy beacuse I'm very HYPERACTIVE .....

I loved it when she play catch with me and piggyback me.

She loves to tickle me and that makes me laugh non-stop.

When she angry with me, I'll just give her a KISS and i'm forgiven..... ~

Mami says i was an obedient boy with Aunty Roslyn as my nanny. She knows my temper and she has a way with handling me... But Aunty Roslyn has to go back to phillipines because her daughter is ill.

Mami, Dadi and i send Aunty Roslyn to the airport. I watched her walked away with her face covered in tears, Mami eyes was red as well.

Its a pity i only have these two pictures of me and her. Luckily Mami took a few videos of me and her. Whenever i watch the videos or hear voice i'll sit down quietly and watch the videos, Mami says i still remember her. But i think Mami misses her more because she was a good helper.

I wish her all the best and speedy recovery to her daughter.

To The Zoo ......

Mami is bringing me to the Zoo today.....
After receiving a call from Gong gong,
Mami quickly packed my bag and head off to Mandai Zoo.
While we were on our way, Dadi say it might rain in the late afternoon.
But i was too excited that it it didn't bother me.

After Dadi drop us off at the entrance, he went off to work.
I was abit disappointed as Dadi won't be around on my
First Zoo Trip

Off we go, looking for gong gong, mahmah, yee yee and ashley(my older cousin). Along the way i was fascinated by the animals.
I saw a colourful bird that talks, Mami say its call a parrot.


Saw afew animals along the way.
They have weird and long names. They're : -
Probascis Monkey,
Borean Orangutan
Douc Langar and many more, but to me they are just Monkeys.


Finally we found the folks, Alshey was waiting impatiently for me to come.
They were rushing off the the animal show.
I didn't quite enjoy it, the stage was hot and humid.
Yee Yee was screaming when the star of the show were SNAKES.
The zookeepers hide the snakes among the audience and so happen that
the chest containing the "it" was near us.

After the show, gong gong went on to the elephant ride... Mami didn't let me go because i'm too young and she was afraid i might be scared during the ride. So i just stood and watch Ashley and gong gong.

Gong gong & Ahsley on the elephant ride, I wanna go as well .

Dadi was right, it started to drizzle a little but that didn't dampen our mood. We went on to the Australian Outback.

But my joy was shortlived, its started to rain cats and dogs and we had to seek refuge in the elephant world. After 30mins the rain didn't stop and gong gong decided to call it a day.

So much for my First Zoo Trip.

Mami make it up to me another day but forgets to take photos of me .. think she was too engrossed with the video camera instead, but i had a great time at the Children's World on my second trip.

My 1st Birthday

Its my birthday today ...

I'm turning 1 yrs old. No longer a infant ~~

i'm a TODDLER now !!

Mami planned for my party 2 months before my birthday....

No. of guests to invite ?

Which caterer to call ?

& lastly a cake for me without doubt this is the easiest decision ~~

Mami and Dadi woke up very early to be the first to wish me

Happy Birthday.
Mami cover my face with kisses & i wonder if she brushed her teeth ?

Grandpa and Aunt Lily was the earliest to arrive, they brought Ang Ku Kuehs

while Mahmah brought Red Eggs and Glutinous Rices.

Aunty Roslyn gave me a shower and put on my new clothes..

Finally i could wear my new romper written for 12mths and above.

After getting ready, I waited patiently for the guests to arrive.

Grandpa played a game with me. He lay down a few

items on the floor and ask me to pick.

There are :-

calculator, drumstick, ruler, pen and book

Well guess wat i chose ~ calculator and pen.

(i can't read why chose book, drumstick overcooked)

Anyway enough of this all this .. its time for well-wishers to wish me ~~

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

and give me the my "presents".

Got alot of red envelopes for present that day,

Mami say she'll safe keep it for me but i've never seen them since then.

Wonder what present i got?

Grandpa gave me a gold chain which Mami say was too heavy for me to wear.

My favourites were toys, till now i still treasure them very much.

Mami's & Dadi's Buddies ... heard their voices while i was still in the Mami's tummy ... they were always shouting "pong" or "win liao"(realised after that they were playing a game call Mahjong)

" Grandpa & Me"

I'm 3 months old now.
I'm starting to recognise the sound and smell of my family members .
I know when to cry when i'm hungry or soiled my nappy.
I cry once every 3 hours for my meals and
Mami was always by my side 24/7.
She knows when its time for me to throw my tantrums and will be there to calm me before i even started.

Mami sure pampers me alot....

I grow fast and before you know it.

I'm already 6 months old.

Its the first time Mami let me try on the walker

and i love it .

Dadi was so worried that i move too fast

that he placed his hands near my walker the

moment i move an inch ..

Having a bodyguard wasn't that bad afterall !!!!

19.11.2005 ~ Morning

Mami stomach looks & feels weird even Godmama Kim say so too.

Mami didn't really bother as she thought it was just a stomache upset.

While having her mahjong session, i kick furiously and was trying to find my way out to meet all the folks who were waiting for my arrival.

Soon enough Mami decided to admit into the hospital after she was the big winner and her dinner " Kway Chap with no pork"

Mami reached the hospital around 8.35pm. While Dadi's was busy with the adminstration, Mami waits patiently for my arrival.

20.11.2005

After 5hrs of labour pain

I was ready to push my way out... I heard Dr Woodworth shouting : " Come on push ... push push " and Dadi's voice telling Mami :" Don't give up dear". After all the commotion i was out.

Mami was crying and Dadi was grinning with joy.
