Growing Up ~ Growing Pains

I created this post to keep track of my baby’s growth. Time flies and he’s already 32mths old.

For the last 32 months.
This little rascal has bought me laughter, joy, tears, frustration and most of all he taught me how to be responsible.

The laughter he bought to my life is priceless :-
He never fails to make me laugh with his little actions and curiosity.

The tears he bought to me are painful :-
Remember the time he had an accident and requires a minor operation.
I remember lying him onto the cold operation theater bed.
I broke into tears once I leave the room, he was only 15months old.
His front teeth pierced through his lips and his teeth was inverted into the gums.
3 people’s shirt was stain with his blood … Maid , Father-in-law and myself .
For the next two days , its was to & fro to hospital for checkups .
I broke down almost everyday when the dentist say they hv to remove his teeth and be toothless for the next 7 years.
Luckily the senior dentist put the op on hold and ask me to monitor for the next 3 years.
Imagine going through a operation the day before and having to had another one the very next day.
My heart bleeds whenever he cries.
His face was swollen and I can’t feed him using a normal spoon. I can only use the McDonald’s Tea/Coffee stirrer ...

Baby was clinging on to me like a koala bear for 82hrs. I didn’t catch a wink at all. I was exhausted and tired both physically and mentally.

Everything was worth it after he fully recovered.

姐姐 for crying so badly in another part of Asia,

Princess Ashley is back

Ashley aka Yuxin is back from Hong Kong.
Her caretaker Wati 姐姐 has gone back to Indonesia for good and while waiting for a new one to arrived. Her mom decided to bring her back to Singapore so she don’t have to look after that Fat Gal on her own …

On the very first day we meet her upon on her return.
Princess A & Prince D was shouting each other’s name the moment they met eyes.
They dash towards one another and gave a big hug…
(that scene was soooo sweet)
They spend quality together fighting , playing and arguing with each other.

When time for us to go home.
Princess A hug on to me very tightly and ask if she could go home with me.
I promise her but it has to be a Saturday when i don’t have to work.
Finally she release me from her clutches … WAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!

Saturday is finally here ~~~~~~~~~

I went to meet Fat Princess and my 姐姐 at City Hall did some shopping before proceeding to my place ….
They kids create a havoc making me and 姐姐 almost check in to Hougang chalet …
But I’m glad they enjoy each other’s company.

The children finally calm down after i turn on the Barney Show for them ...

Project Title : - BB D's Room Revamp

Mami hated my room since 20.11.2005(sunday) !

She's always complainting that it didn't look like a toddler's room.

She hates the bed , the wardrobe, the curtains .. everything in the room expect me .

Soon in Year 2008 July, she came up with this crazy idea to start throwing away all the furniture that i have been using since birth.

She bought lots of shelfing for me from ikea , all whole new white wardrobe and a new BED !!!!

A new look for my room, more like a toddler's room now ...

I know Mami ain't satisfy yet. She sourcing for cars design wall paper to add on to my room ..

More additional will be added to my cosy room soon.

Does it really help with the Thinking Corner Method ? U guys decide !
Its definately won't work for me bcs every thinking corner i create,
Prince D is able to turn it into a playing corner !!!!!!!!!!!!

so here goes :-

HOW TO MANAGE AN INCREDIBLE HULK
Many two and three year olds go through an aggressive phase. But with love and firmness you can show them how to behave.

Toddlers hit and bite, kick and punch because it is a sure fire way to get your attention, something your children crave. You need to show them that it doesn't work.
As soon as he hits out (don't wait) tell him that because he has hit or bitten he must now sit in 'time out' for two minutes (use a minute for each year of his life). Say this as calmly as you can and then don't say anything else.

Next, lead him firmly but kindly to a designated chair (preferably one from which his feet can neither touch the floor nor kick the walls) and leave him to sit. Do not send him to his room or to the bottom step. You need to keep an eye on him, and he needs as few distractions as possible. A chair in the kitchen is great. If he gets up, take him back immediately. Tell him that the time out will only begin when he is sitting. Put your hand on his leg to encourage him to stay. Do not let him off if he says he's sorry, he needs to sit still first. Don't talk to him during his time out or allow any one else to either. Use the two minutes to calm yourself down. When the time is up, ask him to apologise and then forgive and forget. Eventually your toddler will get the message. Your toddler is learning what he can and cannot do.

With time out and your positive and loving attention whenever he is playing well, he won't need to go on hitting and biting for long.
